Does anyone know when they changed?
My Nov61 standard Dexta has had the top handles (like Super dexta) for at least 40 years, so I assume they are original.

Hi,
The main parts book has E1ADKN-16644>57-10/60 and E1ADDN-16644>10/60-64.
The 1st couple of times I looked I thought it was the same part #!
(But the 1958,59,60,61 and 62 Owners Spare Parts Lists all have the same earlier E1ADKN-16644 number.)
Our earliest Dexta, a June/61 Petrol has the newer square type as in the 1st photo.
Looks like that is also when the Fordson Dexta ornament was added to the sides of the hood/bonnet.

Interesting, my '61 has the curved handles from the bottom photo. My dad puchased the tractor 40+ yrs ago, so I'm guessing they're original. I guess I should say it's (singular) as I'm missing one..... :?

Checked with my neighbour who had a late Dec/60 Dexta.
His also had the square type handles and side ornaments.
He was the 2nd owner and had aquired it in the late 60's.

Our 1960 Dexta is one built in March of that year and has the rounded handles and no side badges. :)
It was like that when I found it.... & I wish I had left it alone!
