Guide price

Post by ford7000 »

i am new to this site and looking a bit of advice
I am selling my fordson super dexta and plough and I am looking a rough guide price
The tractor is 1964 grey wing and in original condition
The plough is a ransomes ts1016 two furrow reversible
The tractor has the spool to operate the plough
The plough has 95% metal left
Both working well
Any help on a rough guide price

as there is such abig differance in prices from 500 up to what people are prepared to pay , depending on
condition tin work mechinal state tyres ect ect, and main thing what your local
punters are prepard to pay , i would say decide what is the most you would pay if you
wanted to buy same tractor knowing the tractor , this will give you and idea what some one eles would pay,
and dont over price it as some do , ebay or donedeal in ireland will give you an
idea of the prices they are feching in ireland , good luck with it sky blue

The tractor alone on this side of the pond would bring between 3 and 4 thousand dollar U.S.
You folks over there have some of the most unique tractors. Would love to get my hands on some of them.
Hope you get what you want for it. :D

"Tractor and Machinery" magazine have a price guide based on auction prices, sometimes looks a bit high but will work as a guide. Remember, when most people go to an auction they fill their wallet and leave their brain at home! :D

Prices asked on E-Bay are sometimes out of this world. Your tractor is a desirable item with a plough and a DAR valve which alone can sell for £300.00. A plough, in good condition can also sell well.

Thanks for your replies
Tractor and plough are hitched together and haven't been out of a shed in approx 18 years
So I will get them out and take pictures
