Re: Dexta price ranges?
The Ford and Fordson Association Price Guide suggests a range from £900 to £7,200, so probably somewhere in the region of £3,000 + for a well restored example.

It is a sad fact of life that you can spend more money and many man hours refurbishing a tractor for your own satisfaction, than it is worth. That is why I have sold two of my collection without refurbishing them.

As Gerald says not many Dextas sell for more than £3k.
£3900 is as much as I've seen recently at Malvern last year, but for an original un-restored '61:

I reckon there's more to be made restoring red tractors than blue.
See you're over the water - not sure how that affects prices, but know the Irish do like tractors!

Over here in the States a nice Dexta will bring between 2500-4500 dollars. The lack of power steering really hurts there resale.... You wont find a stronger, well suited, tractor if this size, now matter what the color...for this money..
