Hello,

I'm looking for the mountingpoints for a front hitch.
I want to mount the hitch to the front of the dexta and not to the axle.

Have someone pictures or drawings for me?

Could be tricky. Suggest you look at the partslist, downloadable from fordson-dexta.de. Would be alot easier to attach to the front axle and should be OK if you have the spacer/washers fitted to the pivot - see thread about this on here.

If i mount it to the front axle it is moving.

The front mounting is also used for a mounting point for a hood for carnival.
like this:



It was alway bolted on a Ferigison,but this one is sold.


If i use the front axle the hood twisted if the road is uneaven

On the dexta we used also the mounting at the engine. (the point where the most front loaders are mounted).
And at the back it comes in the hydraulic lift.

There is no place to mount anything on the front end of the Dexta unless you come from the axle mounting bolts on the front of the block.

I have a MIL loader on a TE 20 Ferguson and this has two support rods that fit to a similar bolt setup. I would be a little concerned about carrying any weight there though.

Could you mount a towing ball on a frame attached to the front axle like this (hope your Dexta looks better than this one ).
If you make the ball in line with the pivot pin, there will only be a slight movement on an uneven road as the ball rotates. Your 'hood', which I hope is not too heavy, can be attached to the ball using a standard 50mm hitch.
When is the carnival - looks exciting!

Welcome to the board.
You must be living beneath the rivers as you are having carnival and I think you live on clay ground if I see the name of the show wagon.
Think it must north above Bergen op Zoom. Am I close?

There may be another way, by attaching a mount to the underside of the bottom radiator mounting bracket, which also supports the front of the axle pivot pin. See Jambug's explanation of how his front loader attaches: http://www.fordsontractorpages.nl/phpbb ... php?t=1532.

I live near Roosendaal.
Almost Bergen op Zoom.

My dexta is a lot better than the one one the picture but not in a show state.
i own the dexta about a month and go to restore it.
But that is after carnival.
Carnival is mostly in February.

I have found also this picture from a front weight.

As i can see it is not mounted at the front axle.


Last night i have working on the mounting points.
On the front i found 2 square holes.
(uderside of this part but i have no picture of the onderside)

I want to make 2 extra holes in the flat part.
So its possible to mount a plate where i mount the hitch on.

I have also bolted a metal strip ( 30mmx5mm) at the tap ends where the front is bolted on the engine.
You can see the holes on the picture below in the middle off the axle.


From the metal strip we make 2 T-strips that is welded to the plate for the hitch.

The whole part is then bolted on the 2 tap ends en 4 M12 bolts.

The whole hood that comes around the dexta is not heavy.
You can lift the hood with 4 peaple.

Yes it can be done - not very easy though! Take some photos as you go along; they will be very useful to others.

On the last picture i mounted a hitch with a strip for the hood.
After carnival i have a hitch without the strip.
