just cleaned and painted the engine in my dexta. replaced the oil filter and the ruber seal. now i have leaks all round the oil filter. i have oil pressure just from cranking the engine. the filter housing had 2 ruber washers in the outer seal is this normal? i only replaced the 2 with one. can anyone help?

some new seals aren't very good! might be worth putting your old one back if it doesn't leak, we just changed a filter on a 5000 and had to use the old seal after several atempts at fitting the new one..

thanks for the help. i will swap the seals back over soon as i can.

managed to sort it tryed few more times with same result was getting fed up thought a good knock from a wooden block might seat it and worked a treat.
