Its on the left side, near left knee, when sitting. Oil leaks out sometimes, but only when she is working.

parts list names this as "cap (gear change shaft interlock)" so I guess the cap is missing?

Mine has a small pressed sheet metal plug. Looks like the knock on caps you see on the axles of kids ride on toys but put in small end first.

whats this hole for?
