had great success and satisfaction recently with a small tipping MF trailer. Really feel I'm putting the machine to good use and all is working quite well.
However, I need to adjust the hydraulics and top up the oil. Seeing as the adjustment requires removal of the top cover I think I might as well replace the filter(s) in there, and the oil at the same time. Can anyone advise where to purchase the filters? Is it just the exhaust filter that needs replacement, I understand there is a pick-up filter too...
Do I need anything other than the gasket, o-ring kit, and filter(s)?
These filters don't normally require replacement. Intake 'filter' is a metal screen, it's relatively easy to just wash it out...boil it in hot soapy water if you have to.
The exhaust filter is a paper element. It only filters a portion of the oil going back into to the sump, so it does tend to last a while. Manual suggests it be replaced only at a 'major' overhaul.
I did a google search and found a site that says they have the exhaust filter...(there may be more sites , this is just the one I looked at)
