You have certainly made a good job of your Dexta.
Nice to see your baby has the auxiliary fuel tank.
Does anybody know what this aux tank was for? I have read comments in magazines about it being an extra petrol tank,
or even a paraffin tank for a petrol/paraffin model Detxa.
Whats your next project going to be?

Hey Kiwi, next project.....pay the tractor bills and spend time with the other girl.
Mark,I've seen two other gassers in around this area, but there are quite a few guys on this forum from Canada. There were at least 3 or 4 listed on Kijiji.ca in the Toronto area this year.
Thanks,
Carl

Kiwi Kev,
The extra tank on mine is just petrol. Hose from the main tank, were the tap would normaly be, to the bottom of the extra tank. The fuel tap is on the outlet of the extra tank. It has a small pipe from the top going to what was the diesel return fitting on the main tank as a breather. I think it adds about 9L.
One good side effect is that being lower than the main tank there is still a bit of fuel when the main tank is dry, enough for me to get home anyway.
