Back On It's Feet

Post by ddoan »

After a year-and-a-half on jackstands, my Dexta is now back on it's feet:

I still have lots to do: brakes, clutch refit, and steering, but most of the cleaning and dry-fitting is done. I also plan on shooting one final coat of paint with the tractor in one piece.

Granddaughter, Jessie, insists that this will be her tractor, since her favorite color is blue. At nearly nine, I figure she should be helping with plowing duty in another year!

She looks great. You should be proud of the tractor and the granddaughter!

Beautiful result Don, as far as the tractor concerns.
As far as your granddaughter that's out of control for you.
Keep her warm for the colour blue. Only 7 years left and she can drive one.
Kind regards, Henk

You did a great job Don! She looks like new, and you have a beautiful granddaughter. I have 2 both 3 years old, they're a lot of fun, grandpa can spoil them, then give them back to there mom.
See ya
