Hi,

I know this works because I have tried it!

Get an arc (stick) welder and weld a bead all the way through the inside of the pin, it will then come out with a little persuasion from your club hammer!

Mine was also locked tight. I ground two flats on the exosed end to get a wrench or vise grips on. Then sprayed with Aerokroil, beat it and tried twisting it for days. It came out after about a week.

Good luck,

The welding trick is a good one. We have a machine at work which uses large taper rollers. Unfortunitly the outer race is pressed into a blind shoulder so there's no way to knock them out from the back. We run a bead of weld around the inside and when they cool they just drop out.

A weld on the inside diameter of most things will shrink them.
