Hi all
Well there I was carefully assembling my oil pump and the intermediate gear circlip retainer went PING! and has now dissappeared.
So can anyone help me with the size please as the parts manual just says 'circlip'. I think the shaft diameter is 21/32" and the internal groove diameter is 9/16". Which size do I ask for?
Regards
Jerry

Does this sound like it? 15 1 CAR40181 SNAP RING Circlip, Drive Shaft Seal, Years: 01/01/1957-12/31/1964
Go to vugot.com. Follow your nose via Fordson > Parts to the Dexta online parts list and look for your part. Looks like the part# has been superceded.
Suggest you phone Dave at Vugot (01258-486209) and ask him to send you one. He's a v helpful guy
All the best

Spoke to Dave as sugested by Bensdexta, he was sorry but he couldn't help. Measured the internal diameter again after gringing down the sides of a pair of calipers so they bottomed in the groove and it came up with 1/2"!!
Tried the internet - Yes if I wanted 340 assorted or 50 of that size only for £8-10.00.
Went down to the local car accessory shop and bought two for 20p!! - problem solved!
Cheers
