Thanks gentlemen for the kind words. I hope it can be an inspiration to others. Before I started this project with my Dad, I didn't even know how to start a Dexta! We're currently waiting on our new starter to arrive.

I hope now we're on the home straight. Can't wait to hear her going again!

Its been a long time gentlemen. Since my last post the dexta has come quite a long way. I'm now pleased to report it is finished and ready to make her debut at our local vintage rally this Saturday, 16th June.

New pictures to follow!

Ben and Don thank you both for the links to the photos. Don I bookmarked yours in case I have to tear into mine some day. Mine is a 60 or 61 and runs like a champ. I have had more fun operating this tractor than all the others put together. I wish I had known about them years ago.
Thanks again.
Chris

P.S. I can only hope that some day mine looks as good yours do.

Chris,

I am glad to know that you found my photos of value. My hope is to be back to work on my Dexta, this summer. I am putting the finishing touches on a Ford Funk, OHV 6, that has taken me more than two years. With luck, I'll have that done by the end of June, at which point I'll move my very patient Dexta back to center stage. So, more photos to come.

Don

Hey Guys. Our tractor features in this months edition of Tractor and Machinery Pg34

Thanks again to everyone especially Jerry and Ben who helped this novice with his restoration. Just shows anyone what can be achieved!
