Something strange is going on with this tractor, the reserve has now been set at "a more realistic £15,000" and yet it reached £18,600 in the previous listing!

The plate on the front axle says that it is Roadless conversion kit No. 844, which according to my informant suggests that the kit is 1970's era rather than 1960's!

Was'nt the 4wd conversion made entirely by Selene in Italy, and were imported/fitted by Roadless? I presume that Selene made the 4wd conversion for several makes & models of tractors out there which could explain the high serial number. Perhaps Roadless imported some kits at a later date for retro-fitting to earlier Dextas?
Did you ever see or hear of the 4wd Dexta in Carmarthen some 15 years ago where the Dexta had been retro fitted with a Perkins 3 cyl engine to replace the original Dexta engine? The guy who purchased it found out when he stripped it down that the innards were missing from the front axle.
