Hi fellow fordson owners. I have just bought a super dexta needing a head as its been tested and its leaking. I have ordered all the parts for it through a friend who actually owned the very tractor many years ago. He could not believe it came up for sale... I will be the third owner in 49years.
My cousin has a mf 35x a good tractor and cant be faulted. The super dexta is a better machine in my mind. I know many mf owners and i wanted to put a spanner in the works by going blue...
Can any one please tell me if there is a sequence for doing the tappets. I havent got a "destruction book" yet.

valve clearances - .010" warm engine ..
#1 cyl on tdc - compression stroke ....adjust valves 1,2,3,5 (count from front of engine)
#1 cyl on tdc - exhaust stroke ....adjust valves 4,6

Move the small inspection plate on the left side of clutch housing to view tdc mark on flywheel...
