Interesting, my standard Dexta had a super Dexta Cowl and was called 'Red One' with all but the body panels red!

Hi
It looks to me like it has the fergie closed center rear wheels fitted as well. if my thinking is correct they came of the t20 with the continental engine.

It's a 1963 model, confirmed by the serial number and Oct. 63 stamped into the fuel pump housing facing the block.
I wonder why someone wanted it to look like a Fergie so badly?
The blue you can see is my "touching up" with a spray can,it was entirely red, stripped right down to the metal.

Sunburn at this time of year....yeah right! :stress: I think that the reasons for odd coloured Fordsons may have more simple reasons. While we have here a red Dexta, and on Trade Me (#483359678) there is a red and black Major, but notice where they come from, Canterbury, do you think they might be provincial/Crusader colours??? :yikes: Maybe a yellow and blue Dexta might have been owned by a Highlander/Otago supporter :run: TSG.

And mine is going to be Ford Blue and Grey. I'm probably the only guy on here that doesn't like the Empire blue. :yikes: Sorry.
