I will be changing the oil in the transmission of my Super Dexta in a few days. I read that it was ok to mix some diesel fuel with some clean oil and run the transmission for a short period of time to clean the interior. Is this advisable? How much oil and how much diesel fuel? How long to drive her around? Is there any downside or risk to this idea? Is 15-40 Shell Rotella a good choice of oil?

Do not use diesel!!!! The best stuff is kerosene with oil, a 50/50 mix. This was what Fords recommended. Diesel will affect the seals in the lift and other areas.
