Attaching Image to a Post

Hi There
Being new to this I am struggling a bit trying to start attaching images to my posts.i reckon I am almost across the line but getting stuck last step. I read a previous post by bendexta and got onto the tractorsearch link. I then managed to find my jpg image as local off computer and size at 640 and press upload button. This is where I am running into trouble with the last step. What exactly do you need to copy from here and paste into your post? Secondly when you do a preview does it show your image or only the link letters to the author?

I would rather play with tractors than computers!!!!!

You need to copy the [img] code in the box below the image on treactor search. If you do a 'quote' on any post on here with an image, you will see how the [img] code should look.

i use photo bucket
then u just copy the IMG code .

but i think there are lots of other sites too.

If you use tractorsearch, or indeed photobucket, after you're uploaded your photo and it displays, look in the boxes below it. One of the boxes contains the [img] code, copy & paste this into your post on here. Preview shows your post exactly as it will appear, pic & text.
