Hello,

I have a 1960 Dexta and I need to do a few minor repairs, the brakes need to be looked at and there's an oil leak on on the outside of the left halfshaft.
The first question is, what about the brake shoes? Should i buy complete shoes? I see that the linings are available separately as well? Is it hard to replace just these linings? Do i need special tools for that? I' m pretty new to this, I only have my dexta for 2 weeks...

What about the seals of the half shafts? Can someone please share some good advise on them? Any special tools needed?

Suggest you see the workshop manual.

lining kit comes complete with rivets. clean old linings from shoes , holes in new linings line up with holes in shoes so put rivet in hole and rest on the end of a bolt the same size as the rivet and flatten the rivet to hold on the lining

Ok thanks for your comments, I managed to replace the halfshaft oil seals and replaced the brake linings! yes!!
