Hi - I'm new to the forum (info found so far has been invaluable)and to Dexta ownership. I am in the process of buying a March 1961 dexta with horndraulic loader.
Anyone know what diameter the front wheels should be on one of the vintage?

Regards Andy

Welcome Andy,

Could be 4.00x19 or, 6.00X16.

Thanks - I've checked and the wheels are 19 inch - they just looked too big & I assumed they were a later substitution.

Hi Brian,
Are these are bigger/wider wheels than standard recommended to stop the front end sinking in with the front loader?
Thanks,
Ben

Standard wheels were 4.00x19, option was 5.50x16 now 6.00x16. They should workout around the same rolling radius but the 6.00x16 are better for loader work.

I saw a Fergie 35 at the w/e with a front loader. It had 6.00x16 front tyres.
