Dexta FoMoCo PTO Compressor
Hi, I bought a pto compressor for my Dexta yesterday, Just wondered if anyone had seen one before? It needs an air line for it and I'd like to know what it had on it originaly. Was it just used for tyres or did it run a clipper like the fergie ones?

Re: Dexta FoMoCo PTO Compressor
Hi.
I doubt that the compressor would be able to do much more than pump up tyres, it's too small

It may be branded Fomoco but the name Gold Star springs to mind for that compressor. It was purely for blowing up tyres (and slow at that being only a single cylinder).
Incidentally I would lengthen the chain so it is horizontal as that makes the unit jump about less (and was the natural position based on the chain length for all the ones I used when they were new).
