Hi Brian,
I hope your cab fitted easier than ours, it didn't come from a dexta and all the wheel arch radii were wrong and at the wrong angle, so we have had a lot of altering to do.
We are altering the doors to be a full length full width fit and putting the compound shape into the door skin has been a nightmare. (More YouTube education has helped!).
Do you happen to have a picture of your cab and do you have the Winsam badge on the front? I am struggling to find one and so I thought maybe I could make one.

Hi Jamie, I'll need to get my son to do some photos in the next couple of days. By the way the Winsam badge is nothing special, however the cab fitted very well with a bracket on each wing and two brackets bolted to a bar that fits on the front below the fuel tank

Hi Brian,
that is a tidy looking cab you have there and apparently in good order.
I was a little confused about how your right hand door opens, until I realised there isn't one!

A little more progress on our cab refurb.
We have boxed in the areas around the foot pedals, it doesn't look too pretty but it may reduce some draft.

Then we turned our attention to making a rear window :-

The window itself is made of polycarbonate and sits inside a slotted wood frame which itself fits into the steel frame.

Hi Brian,

I will probably end up fitting an electric window wiper at some point.

I was under a bit of pressure to get the cab finished for tomorrow (Sunday) because my brother wants to take it on a tractor run organised by a local enthusiasts group.

My intention is to fit a windscreen wiper, indicators, and maybe a plough lamp or two; wire the whole cab up as a module with one multi plug connector somewhere near the front corner.

Also toying with the idea with making a new box type panel which fits across the top of the windscreen to house switches, wiring etc.

Thanks for your kind words gentlemen :D

My brother took the tracor out on a charity tractor run on Sunday which was not too warm.
He reported a heavy shower half way round made life a little miserable for those without a cab, but he was dry with no leaks.
A problem I need to address is the up-draught from the footplate and pedals area. It looks like I will have to fabricate some solid footplates and draught-proof the area under the pedals (which wont be easy :? )
Any suggestions or pics always welcome.
