Super / Dexta Bonnets

Hi,
Is there any difference between the bonnets for standard and Super Dexta, apart from the handles?

Hi Ben,

I don't think there is any difference, apart from the cowling there's very little difference to the exterior.

Many thanks. I had a look at the parts list, but it's not entirely clear as there are several left/right bonnet sides listed.

Hi Ben

There definately is a difference in the shape of the SuperDexta bonnet and the standard Dexta. If you take a look at Stefans Dexta you will notice that the bonnet is extended down slightly in the region of the diesel tank as apposed to the Super where the bonnet is straight from the front at the cowl to the diesel tank.

If you scroll down the list of posts under Dexta you will find a Super Dexta advertised on Ebay, open it and you will see the difference.

What Idid a while ago was to take the bottom half of a Dexta front cowl and trasfer it to my Super Dexta upper half which seemed to fit fine.

Many thanks. As you say the Super Dexta bonnet is deeper along it's full length.
