Dexta rear end drain plug threads?

Does anyone know what size the threads are for the rear end drain plug. I pulled mine to change fluid and the threads were messed up on the plug. I got a new plug from a New Holland dealer and it is 3/4"-14 NPTF. It is a different style plug than the original and I don't want to run the wrong tap through the hole and cause more problems, I guess I figured it would be NPT threads but not really sure. Any help would be appreciated.
