Hi Mike, is the lift pump attached to your injector pump? If so check that the lift pump diaphragm hasn't got a hole in it allowing diesel to be pumped into the injector pump. This can cause the symptoms you describe and is alot cheaper to sort than a pump rebuild!

Thanks for the tip, I replaced the lift pump a few years ago but I'll check the diaphragm anyway.
