howdy all,

how do I work out what year my tractor is?

thanks to the info on this forum, it has helped locate the numbers etc and this is what I have found so far,

number on bell housing looks like 09B712133, engine number is 1600718 and cast numbers on block are D 10 2 (10 April 62)

if I read this correctly I have a 1962 Dexta? It has diff lock, 2 stage clutch and runs really well, how would I tell if it was a super Dexta? it has a super dexta bonnet but a normal dexta front section? the old guy I bought it off was collecting parts so I am not really sure whats original?

any info appreciated

Hi Mick,
Firstly compliments of the season. your engine number commencing with 16xxx to my knowledge is a Super Dexta engine, my engine number commences with 16xxx and is a Super Dexta engine. I am open to correction.
