Super dexta engine on dexta tractor

Hi,

I have a dexta that desperately needs a new engine and I am thinking of putting a super dexta engine on it.

More power but what do I need to look for or watch out for. Because when I get the new engine I cannot use the old injection pump. The speed control is different. But it looks all doable. But what more do I nee to watch for.

Hi,

Supers have different nose cone, larger riadiator and a differnt shape bonnet.

Imho you can swap the engine block and bolt on all the auxilliaries of your old engine. Then you have 152 cu in instead of the 144, but nog more fuel, not more hp and not an overloaded cooling system.

A rebuild kit for the original engine is not really expensive and saves you the trouble of swapping an engine which in the end will be equally worn. Why should one take it out of a tractor if it isn't worn.
