What make of fuel filters do you guys have on your dexta.

Hi,
There are several brands of fuel filter assemblies around and I was wondering what brand you guys have. I stripped the thread of the output port of my Tecalamit filter head curse, however I have cleaned up an AC type filter assembly, not fitted yet still to be painted up. I also have a fuel assembly spacer that was fitted to the block when I bought the Dexta, at the time it had a plstic inline filter fitted, Do any of you have this spacer fitted between the block and fuel filter of your Dextas?

Hi, I was out at my super dexta today and water blasted her, she has the AC filter with spacer behind .

Thank you very much Les, whilst on the subject is it necessary to have the pigtail in the line from the said filter to the pump?

Hi. Have checked tractor today does not have pigtail but more of s shape that would make it easier to pipe up.

Les you are a star thank you very much for your efforts much appreciated. I was dreding making up the pipe with the pigtail. "S" shape is definately easier to make up.

My first experience on the Dexta was about 1965, My father owned two of them, had great fun working on the farm with them as a tiny boy.
