needing a new battery for the dexta does any one know the size to fit battery tray
length x width x depth and cca ah ect

The battery I have fitted in my Dexta is a Yuasa YBX3000, 90Ah, 700Amps. The dimensions are as follows 8 inch high by 63/4 inch deep by 12 inch wide. Fits perfect and the bonnet closes no problem. Plenty of power to start as well. I made a battery clamp from small angle to suit and retainers made from M6 threaded rod. Flattened one end of the rod to fit in the slot in front of the fuel tank. Took notches out the corners to make sue the battery terminals had clearance. See attached photos of set up. If you need the sizes of the retainer frame I made let me know.

Thank you Charlie, my tractor been a Super Dexta, the fire wall is narrow I'm sure you know what I am referring too. I must have a look and see if I can adapt your clamp style to fit my batt. Take care Mervyn.
