Hi, restoring dexta at the moment, when refitting diesel tank is there any need to place pad between the tank and where it bolts on with the 3 bolts ( like the way the radiator is done with the 2 pads)

Yes, they should be 3/16" thick, otherwise the dash won't fit properly.

Do you know where they can ne purchased

If theyre not readily available to buy, would it be ok to make from piece of rubber approx 5mm thick

These rubbers aren't available, your idea would be fine.
