You need to bore your liners to 3.6" as your block is a Super Dexta one (152 cu in), they'll be semi finished and need finishing in situ. If the cylinder head reads P3.144 it'll be a replacement or stock casting. As for the lip I don't think any Dexta liner ever had one but I could be wrong. Your serial numbers are 1963.

Hi,

Had this issue last year. My dexta (144 cu in) had worn liners. Pressed them out to be replaced. The original type is non lipped. These are available, but I would advice against it. In your case (152 cu in) they are very thin walled and should be bored!!! And honed after assembly. This is expensive and it is not unheard of that these liners drop down some day.

We decided to purchase 3 sets of lipped liner, piston and rings for a 152 cu in engine and machine the block to fit the lips. The bore interference between liner and base block is within the same dimensions for the ford dexta engine and its perkins siblings with a flange. Freeze the liners for two days in your freezer before fitting.

A large hydraulic press and a special made mandrel on the lathe are quite necessary.

Your image isn't visible, Emiel.
You might want to have the block in a fairly warm room before fitting the liners too. after fitting leave to settle until everything is at the same temperature.
