Throttle lever and associated snapclips, "o" ring and seal.

Post by Mervyn Spencer »

Good morning Folk,
I have a further issue with regards the Throttle control of my Super Dexter. In the parts manual page 114 and 115, part numbers
4. E192-JB9 Ring, Rod Operating. (Snapring, I do have one.)
5. 87008-ES, Seal Throttle Rod Bushing. I believe it is the "o" ring which I can get)
6. 118290-ES7/8 Washer. Rod Tensioner. (N ot sure what that is)

Okay taking all those items into account in what sequence/order do they go? Are they all above the temp guage consol under the lever itself?
I'm sorry to test you guys but I am totally lost.

If you look at the diagram you should be able to get it on.
http://www.smallholderservices.co.uk/si ... s_list.pdf page 114 of the book (page 116 of the pdf).
The circlip holds the shaft on, the seal and washer sit around the dash just below the lever.

Thanks Sandy, firstly lets get this circlip issue out the way, does it fit below the dash cover and what does it hold the shaft onto? I recal that there was a circlip on one of the shafts I have which was about 50mm below the top of the shaft. Secondly do you have the sizes of the washer and seal. Sorry about all the questions, I really appreciate your help.
Mervyn.

The circlip is below the dash, and prevents the shaft being dislodged during operation. The washer and seal will have the same ID as the shaft (I think, we haven't looked at Davie's ones yet).
