Dexta Sump Removal

Post by Manta356 »

I'm trying to remove the Sump of my Dexta.I've removed all bolts as far as I can see,Including the 2 Longer ones at Front and Rear,Although one of the Front Bolts is still in-situ as the nut come off and the stud is still in Place.
I've tried to remove the Sump but I'm wondering is the Sump on Dowels at the Gearbox end and the Stud at the front is Preventing it's Removal.Or Should the Sump Drop down over the Stud that's still in-situ.
The Engine is Still on the Tractor.

Hi,

Did you remove the front axle carrier?
Best regards

The sump should just drop down, recheck you have actually removed all bolts and nuts (including the ones on the adapter plate), then gently ease it down, it is a bit on the heavy side as it's cast iron.
