Bush hog drifts downward

Post by Girardo »

I have 1964 Super Dexta I have owned since 1989. It has been a good tractor and about 13 years ago I split the tractor, replaced all oils seals, hoses, gaskets, checked rod and main bearing clearances, replaced the brakes, etc. It has always had one nagging problem. When Bush hogging it always drifts downwards. If anyone could lead me in the right direction as to the cause, I would appreciate it. Thanks

Not too sure if I know what your problem is, sounds a bit like a leak in the hydraulics but that's as far as I can go without more details.

For what it's worth, this is from the repair manual.
Hope it helps!
