I can't really help you as our tractors are indoors but Davie came with a tarpaulin that we did use to cover all of them on different occasions years ago, but it didn't cover everything. So you'll want something larger than 80" wide and 138" long roughly. Can't really say much more, it also depends on how fully covered you want your Super Dexta.

Thank you Sandy for your comment. My approximate measurements would be, length 3m, width 1.8m and height 1.7m. That would be able to cover everything bar the vertical exhaust which can be placed on the foot rest for example. Our tractors at the club are are in big open sheds with raw ground and we experience a lot of wind, so ideally in my case it would be preferable to have a full cover. Some of the members have had these thin cheap silver pvc covers made up but don't really last with our hot sun. I was looking at something like Ripstop canvas for example, maybe kind of expensive though.

Canvas sounds good, our tarpaulin is definitely not in a good state now but it has endured years and years in the weather so can't complain. I think something like what Land-Rover's have would be a good idea, can't really help much more but I know of some Land-Rover's still with their original canvas even though they're from the same time as our Fordson's. That to me sounds like the sort of stuff to get. PVC is no good for this, it won't last at all as the sun breaks it up within a year or so (in our area anyway).

Canvas hoods on Land Rovers aren’t what they were, with reports of new ones only lasting a few years. Some blame regulations banning certain preservatives.

What a pitty, I wouldn't be at all surprised, as the current policy on so many things is to shorten potential life to make you have to replace things far too often. Luckily Ford in the 50's and early 60's weren't doing that yet!

Mathias, not a bad idea, one of our old timers uses a old duvet cover on a Farmall 100, keeps the dust off

Before tractors had cabs, we used old scout ridge tents. Waterproof canvas, not far off the right shape and easy to fit if you put it on so the nose goes in through the 'door' then (minus exhaust and mushroom) slides over and the door ties do up behind the seat.

Not yet! But I am hoping to be able to some time in the future (along with all other parts!), as I'm fed up with wrong or missing parts. Need to find EnFo documents first, not sure how easy or difficult that will be.

I'll see about that but although it's not my main ambition I don't see why not if someone wants one! A long way away at the moment.
