Pick Up Hitch required

Post by michael dyer »

I have a 1958 Dexta with a drawbar but would like to aquire the parts to convert to a pick up hitch.

Anybody out there with the necessary parts, including top lift arms or any advice on if this early model can be converted.

My Dexta, with horn hydraulic loader, appears to be orginal and still going strong, used regularly on the farm.

Hi,
Keep looking on ebay for a pick up hitch. They come up from time to time.
A couple of links for you, worth searching for more:

Glad to hear the Horndraulic loader is working well, I have one too.
All the best,
Ben

Hello Michael. You'll have to see if a '63 Super Dexta hitch will fit. If it will i have the hook in the mounting bracket with the arms that fit onto the lift arms. I'd been collecting bits from various places 'till i managed to get a complete set up. I'd give Ron Greet a bell in Devon ( 01803 812269 ). I got my special lift arms from them and the service was first rate. Kind Regards.

I forgot to mention, Dexta pick up hitches are as common as rocking horse s**t. Good luck mate.
