Ford - Lister Petter.

Firstly, Happy New Year to you all.
One of our Club Members (Fordson Tractor Club of Australia) has just purchased a second hand Lister Petter irrigation pump engine. The intake manifold has 'Lister' cast into it, and also the name is cast in to some of the cooling system. However, on the head is the oval with 'Ford' cast into it. It looks very much like the early '3000' engine. Was there a tie up with Lister or is it just a case of badge engineering.
