Ford 4000 at work in our forest

Post by FORD 4000 »

Hello,

here are some pics from my Ford 4000 in our forest. It´s so easy to work with this tractor, because he had a strong front end loader and power steering. It makes really fun to work with this Ford. I love it.

Best regards,
Gerhard Hafeneder

Great pictures!!
Keep them coming! :D

Do you need any weight in the lift to keep grip with the rear wheels, when you are picking up the lugs?
Best regards,
Pascal

Fordson's don't leak oil, they are just marking their territory.

That looks like fun, Gerhard. I logged and repaired logging equipment for 16 years. I really enjoyed it. The 4000 looks right at home there.

Hello Pascal,

i have no weights in the lift at these pictures. The grip is ok, because the 4000 is very heavy. But in the future i will put a 500 kg weight in the lift, because it´s more safety to drive.

Gerhard, you could also put water in the rear tyres for ballast, and that would leave the rear linkage free for something else or to be able to use a trailer. To have a third service would be handy to hold those logs on the forks too.Nice front end loader .Cheers TSG. 8)
