clutch problems on ford 3000

Post by Jeff4wd »

Just wondering if anyone can help.
I have an N reg ford 3000, had no problems with it, very smooth clutch and gearchange.
Went to move it today, into gear fine, then shot off in reverse even though the clutch was in! Bit of a shock. Stopped it with pull to stop. Now I can't get it into gear at all.
Have no idea what happened or what went wrong! NO clunks or bangs at all.
Anybody have any ideas? Is it a strip down job?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Possibly your fly wheel toe bearing has seized, one of the links in the clutch plate has broken or a pin come out of a clutch finger. Means you have to split her at the clutch for all these I am afraid.
