4000 dipstick

Post by super6 »

just picked up the 4000 i was asking about in earlier thread.
first thing is i cannot find a dipstick for rear end oil level, the nearest thing i can find is a electronic sender by gearsticks.
second thing it has a sekura cab that only has a roof and a tubular frame, does anyone have a pic of a complete one as i have never seen one before.
thanks Brett

Lets have a photo Brett. Secura made a tubular safety frame onto which the cab panels could be bolted, windscreen, sides, doors etc. Maybe yours was just a basic frame, or at some time the panels were removed.

Hi,

When I remember well, our 4000 had a SQUARE headed oil level bolt on the right hand side of the tractor near the rear axle housing.

Best regards
