Kev's 5000 clutch

I've removed the engine from my 5000, and noticed that it has what looks like a pretty new clutch assembly fitted.
It's still clean, painted, and has ' what looks like a date stamp' on it. 18D9
Do new clutch assemblies have date stamps on them? or maybe it's something unrelated.
