Ford 3000 4WD front axle

Post by Kiwi Kev »

Guys
Here are 2x photo's of Ford 3000 4WD tractors, with different front axle attachment methods. Both tractors are 6y.

Anybody recognise whether they are Roadless, Ford or some other conversion.

Merely curiousity :scratchhead:

Kev,your spending too much time on "Trade Me" :run: :run: Your right that both axle set ups a different and I only thought that that we got County conversions in NZ.If we get no answers here, then you might have to ask the guys at Ruakura Tractor Parts as to which axle set ups are used by Selene or Manual. At least the second tractor is more reasonably priced and not SOS! TSG.

TSG
That first one kind of looks like a homemade version.
I would love to have a drive of a SOS one day, even if it's just to see what all the bad press was about.
Personally, I suspect that it was more of a case of drivers not knowing how to drive this particular transmission, or not caring :eyes:
Can't afford either of them anyway. Would be more interested in the 5000 4wd on Trademe at the moment.
I only go on Trademe about 5 or 6 times a day :scratchhead: Whats wrong with that
