Hi Graham,

The thing is that although there are over 1700 members on here you will find that very few are active members and of those the number of people interested in the World Series is low - Major and Dexta seem to be tops.

I have quickly checked my workshop manuals and have not been able to see any photos that show the footplate mounting set up and without seeing the brackets or a 4000 it is hard to say which way they fit. I will have a look at my 3000 when i go down the workshop next but I am sure that they are a different set up especially with the cab that mine is fitted with.

Have you tried searching for photos of a 4000 on Google Images to see if you can zoom in on it and work it out from one of them?

Whereabouts in the country are you?

Have you tried Dunlop Tractor Parts in Ireland? A top class, honest dealer.
Fordson Tractor Pages, now officially linked to: Fordson Tractor Club of Australia, Ford and Fordson Association and Blue Force.
