Ford TW35

Post by billgatt »

Ok Ive gone and bought a TW35, should get it delivered tomorrow. Can you guys tell me what precautions I need to take with the coolant and filters to reduce the problem with porous block syndrom. What coolant would you advise using etc. Any other advice or tips welcome in addition to what was given in my previous post. Dont suppose there is any other TW owners on the Forum who live in the Aberdeenshire area.
Thanks
Bill

Depending on the age of your new tractor, it will have coolant filter, I would change that and also check what coolant has been used in her. Should really be the one from CNH but there are other good ones on the market. If you use antifreeze it should be at least 50/50.

She is the mark 11 model so I think maybe 1989. Where will the filter be located?
Thanks again
