Ford 8210 gearbox

Does anyone know the difference between a 40k 8210 and a 30k 8210. I have the gearbox out of a 30k and would like to convert to 40k if possible.
it will be far easier to change the whole gearbox. it may be cheaper and easier than buying parts.
I would imagine just a difference of gears and shafts.
