Busted. Cracked. Need part.

The collar that mates to the tractor housing and to the transfer emergency brake housing is cracked. Backed into a stump.

Part is called, from the research I have done; a pinion housing.
It looks to be listed in the Ford Part manual in FIG 02B01.

E3NN2N595BA Pinion Retainer assembly. Used on all models with 4WD except 5000. Item # 1.

It is a simple part. I had checked at the Ford Dealer, and at least the emergency brake disk # 15 E9NN2N625AB was available.
My problem is the picture of the item in FIG o2B01 does not really look like my part. The item in the picture appears a thin flange, but mine is two flanges with a round casting connecting the flanges. It bolts to each component with four fasteners. Since my flange is only cracked, and other than leaking; welding my old flange may be required if part is not available, or fabricate.

Worst case, I will have the part fabricated.
The entire transfer/emergency brake kit is DAPN2N69DA

Took pictures of my part; studied the Ford Tractor book again & again. My parts is not the pinion adapter #1. That part is mounted between my adapter and the transmission housing.

Without even going to the dealer; I am less optimistic I will find the part. Nevertheless, the adapter I need mounts between #1 and 11A. Yep a mystery part.

Post edited, shorted it. it is apparent no Fordson tractor member will be able to find parts for my transfer case.

Ghost. Part does not exist. Says Ford. They really tried, though.
Pulling apart tomorrow. Have made arrangements to lathe new flange. Old flange was cast. Won't weld EZ, the cost to booger repair will be similar to machining new flange from steel.
And I'll replace the emergency brake disks while I have it off and apart.

When the transfer was off and apart, it was obvious the down side. Not only was the transfer flange cracked, but the pinion bull-gear flange that bolts to the side of the tractor, that has the belvel gear which drives the tranfer shaft...had a small crack at one of the bolt holes. That would be the bad news.
Good news is, the cracks are clean cracks and areas needing welds are not near bearings, or seals.
Additionally the load bearing of the transfer is a large bar that bolts from under the tractor, and attaches by plate to the tranfer gear-box. Welds must seal at "crank-case" pressure only.
Optimistic that repairs will be hard to find from the outside.
This box took quite a Whack, as I backed squarely into a green stump, with a load of firewood in the bucket (1/2 cord)
This is what happens when you take an old tractor out of storage and actually use it like a new one. What was I thinking.
Oh, its a tractor, made of parts that I can find or have made. I hope I am never disappointed

Brazed housing, machined surfaces. Fella could not do a better repair vice make the entire part new. Heated support bar and fitted to free bolt fit on tractor bottom.
Installed new emergency brake disk.
While I was at it, I purchased the grip for my emergency brake handle, and fabricated push center pin.

Everything is back together, no leaks.
The new ceramic style emergency brake disks are superior to old fiberous style.
My transfer case is in good shape. Inspected bearings inside. Good working order.
