Major brake shoe retaining spring plate

Post by Huzey »

Hi all.
Just wondered if anyone has a brake shoe retaining spring plate for a major they want to sell. I have got one missing, and I was going to have a go at making one, but if anyone has one lying around surplus to requirements, I would be very interested.
It is the round washer type plate with the recessed bit with a hole in it for the spring to come through that holds the shoe to the backplate.
Thanks in advance
Huzey :D

Cheers Sandy.
That should increase the value of it by a whole 1p!
I'll give it a go later.

Huzey,

Seing as you'll have drilled a hole in the penny I don't think you can claim an increase in your tractor's value by a "whole 1p". You'd have to settle for half a pence which we no longer have in this country so therefore no value increase at all, Sorry

When I said a whole 1p, I meant 1p with a hole in it! :D
