hello looking for a manual starting crank handle for a 56 major.

Why? Are you feeling strong? :D

The staring handle was dropped here in the 1950,s though I still use one on Henrietta when the battery is down. But she is not a diesel. It was the same handle right back to 1952. You may find one in an area where the petrol Majors were more numerous.

looking for the handle for cosmetic reasons, have the starting shaft but no handle to mount on it, handle was used to " warm up the cylinders" heck i don't think i could hand start it.

When I restored my 1954 KFD68 Major I decided to remove the shaft protruding through the front tombstone. I was fed up of walking into it when I walked accross the front of the tractor! It always attcked me in the same place :cry: :cry:
