I could make you both mad I have a couple of blocks and 4or5 sets of wheel weights sitting in my workshop. Im in Canada and british airways definately wont let them on as hand luggage.

yes i am frustrated with parts and there location too. theres loads of large parts in England that would help me. it was not too bad when the $ was strong . If you where in the know on people emigrating to farms we could get them to bring stuff. unfortunatley the $ tanked and thats burst that bubble.
Good luck on the parts :)

The fleet.

the patient is in the foreground.

and before anyone says it, I'm not short of a loader or two!

I have the MIL trip loader for the E1A, the only one that hasn't a loader is the 6cyl roadless super!

edit- the E1A is serial number 1224119 which makes it May 1952. I knew it was early! casting numbers tally so far.....

Thats A nice looking lineup there :) why you hiding the moffet so far back. I remember seing them on demo at the royal show many years ago.
The guy dug a hole with it big enough to drive it in and we could look down on the roof  . I thought it was a fantastic multi purpose machine.
over here in north america we have the versatile and new holland bi directionals as our equivilent. some swear by them and some swear at them  . The moffet was a great idea for its time and should of gone futher :) .

Block is cracked between water and 2 and 3 cylinder bore. Probably an overheating injury 15 years ago when it last ran on the foster digger.
I don't know about the bottom end yet but would love to know anywhere that could repair block rather than replace.

Tractor was bought by my uncle in '52. He ordered it unseen when the salesman called and told him there was a diesel major coming out. Want to get it refurbed and running before it has it's 60th!

The Norfolk/Holland delivery service will be making a run between Christmas and New Year! :D :D :D

We are grabbing a few days in Franaker from the 29th to the 2nd.

We can easily add the trailer to the booking if you could arrange things between yourselves.

Hi all again.
E1A engine blocks are like buses, I now have one sat on my trailer under the shed and just got another on ebay down in Reading!

Anyone want the second one in a months time when I've decided which is best
