major petrol engine kit wanted

having trouble locating an engine repair kit for a 57 fordson major which is petrol. i imported a kit from uk only to find on arrival it was diesel (nowhere on the site did it say diesel only.) have emailed numerous websites but few have replied, the tractor is in pieces waiting for the parts so any help greatly appreciated. would need to be shipped to new zealand as well.

Try sites dealing with Petrol Thames Traders, it is the same engine to all intents and purposes. As you have found out, the petrol has a different bore size but most of the gaskets can be used. The head and manifold gaskets are going to be your main problem.
Try a PM to StevenB, he is traveling back to Aus from Englad at the moment but he may be able to help, he has Trader 6 cylinder petrols and may know a source of parts. Liners and pistons will be the same.
