Cylinder head County

Post by henk »

Hello,

About few weeks ago my friend Dies has finished his county. It’s an industrial version. On there way to the harvest day three weeks ago, it was put in front of a wagon to pull the Cletrac and plough. About a mile from home the County blew it’s cylinder gasket. At least that’s what they thought. Now they know the head is cracked. So there looking for one to replace. It’s a four cylinder from a 5000 or 7000 series. Don’t know the type of engine exactly. Maybe Brian can recall it. Because we are meeting up next weekend, has anyone here in Holland a spare one?
Kind regards, Henk

Hi Henk,

I would try Richard Pit in Willemsoord.
His advertisement is on this website.

He has quite some Ford and Fordson parts.
Best regards,
Pascal

Fordson's don't leak oil, they are just marking their territory.

Both the 654, 754 and 954 use standard 5000 and 7000 series engines so that should not be too much of a problem, you can even get new heads if needed.
Fordson Tractor Pages, now officially linked to: Fordson Tractor Club of Australia, Ford and Fordson Association and Blue Force.
